At its core is the PrecisionCore MicroTFP print chip, a digital chip that ejects ink without using heat and operates at micron-level precision—1/100th the width of a human hair.   1. Replacement ink pack yields are determined using ISO/IEC 24711 testing in default mode with continuous printing. Actual yields may vary significantly due to factors such as the images printed, print settings, temperature, and humidity. Yields may be lower with infrequent printing. Ink is utilised for both printing and routine printer maintenance, and must be installed for the printer to function. A portion of the ink from the included packs is used during printer startup, and some ink remains in the pack after the "replace ink pack" signal. 
  2. Mono and colour print speeds are based on ISO/IEC 24734 standards. Actual printing times may vary depending on system configuration, software, and the complexity of the page. 
  3. Not all media types are supported for PCL printing.
