Description:
Polycarbonate (PC) is one of the advanced industrial thermoplastics with high impact resistance and transparency. Ideal for a wide range of professional applications. When it comes to 3D printing, it is not the easiest polymer to print, like PLA or PETG, as it requires fairly high extrusion and tray temperatures. However, it is still interesting to design complex parts that offer good thermal, mechanical and optical properties.

Best printing practices
When 3D printing, always work in a well ventilated workspace.
With a recommended printing temperature between 240 - 260°C and a bed temperature between 110 - 120°C, you can achieve optimum, high-quality results. Pre-drying of the material is recommended at temperatures between 80 and 100 °C, with drying times between two and twelve hours to achieve a moisture content of ≤ 0.02%. Dried, hot material must not be allowed to cool in the open air. They should be stored in dry, resealable containers.
