ASA filament (acrylonitrile styrene acrylate) is the perfect all-purpose 3D printing thermoplastic, suitable for many different applications. It has a similar chemical makeup to ABS plastic but offers three improvements: better mechanical properties, superior aesthetics and it’s UV resistant.

When 3D printing, always work in a well ventilated workspace.

ASA Filaments have a high melting point. Because of this, we recommend ASA printouts be outputted at a temperature range of 230-260°C with a print-hotbed temperature between 80-120° Celsius to ensure optimal results. Furthermore, ASA can experience warping and/or cracking if cooled while printing or immediately after. To prevent this, ensure no cooling is directed at the ASA while printing, such as a fan.

Please store ASA filament away from the sun in a cool dry environment to ensure longevity as moisture can compromise print quality.
