Worked first go. I have a Chromecast plugged into it to extract audio from spotify and send to an older analolg amp that I use for speakers embedded in ceiling and outdoors. Great solution if you needed a Chromecast Audio which Google no longer makes :)
As described and fit for intended use
Love that I stumbled across this. I use it with my Chromecast connected to my projector. Sound is so much better than using the projector speakers. So easy to hook up.
The device worked - I think - but because the monitor I connected it to didn't have an audio output or speakers, the computer wouldn't send audio to the HDMI port.

CM425 is an upgraded HDMI 2.0 Audio Extractor, supports video resolution up to 4K@60Hz and audio output through Optical SPDIF or 3.5mm stereo.
