Shipping Policy


At Ink Station we use the most reliable and fastest way for our customer. All orders will be shipped by one of the following method.

  • Express Post
  • Registered Post
  • Courier


  • Costs
    Free Delivery for Purchase over $50 for Inkjet Cartridge or $100 or more for Laser Toner Cartridge , otherwise normal shipping fee will be charge at $6.50. (please see shipping cost display in checkout)

    Also there is no additional shipping cost, if your order includes a postage included item.

    Same-Day Dispatch
    All in-stock orders placed before 3:00pm Monday through Friday dispatch the same day, orders placed after 3:00pm Friday and orders on weekends or holidays dispatch the next business day.

    Delivery Times
    As a general guide deliveries to major cities will take 1 to 2 days whilst it could take up to 5 days for more remote areas.

    Backorders
    We strive to have all items in stock. However, If for any reason we are unable to dispatch your order we will notify you within 2 business days




    Pricing Policy


    All of our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and services tax)

    Return Policy


    To return a product, you must first contact us to obtain a Return Authorisation (RA) number. Returned goods cannot be accepted without an Ink Station RA number, which is valid for fourteen days. When posting the cartridges back to us, the RA number is to be clearly marked on the returned goods packaging (above the address), or goods will be returned upon arrival.

    Incorrectly ordered goods:

    • if you are not sure if the cartridge you have ordered is the correct one for your printer, please contact us as sometimes certain cartridges are compatible with several different brands of machine.
    • as a rule we do not give credits/refund for incorrectly ordered goods where the goods are over 30 days old from the invoice date.
    • all incorrectly ordered goods returns must be unopened and in "as new" condition otherwise credit will be rejected.
    • items must be packaged in their original product box. We are unable to credit any returns without the original undamaged product box. Please use a different box for shipping so the original box is not marked with courier stickers, tape, tags or packing labels.
    • all incorrectly ordered goods returned to Ink Station will incur a 15% restocking fee.
    • it is your responsibility to pay the freight charges and insurance to Ink Station and to ensure you have a proof of delivery for goods returned to us. Goods that are shipped with ‘receiver to pay’ will be rejected by us, leaving the courier responsible.

    Faulty goods:

    • there are many occasions where both toners and ink cartridges are found not to be faulty. Please ensure you have performed your printer recommended cleaning procedures before returning any goods to us.
    • as a rule we do not give credits/refund for returns where the goods are over 90 days old from the invoice date. Exceptions are made for some products where we have specific latitude given to us by the manufacturer of the product.
    • there is a manufacturers’ prerequisite that laser or copier returns must have a printed page from the cartridge in question returned with the cartridge. There will be no exceptions as we are unable to obtain credits without these.
    • cartridges have to be over a minimum weight (normally at least 75% full) before we can accept them for return.
    • if the product has been refilled or tampered with in any way, the credit will be rejected.
    • all cartridges must be sealed and secured to ensure they do not leak or get lost in transit.
    • once we have received the cartridges, we will then evaluate them and contact you to advise the result. This could take up to 60 days for Genuine Cartridges and 7 days for Compatible Cartridges
    • it is your responsibility to pay the freight charges and insurance to Ink Station and to ensure you have a proof of delivery for goods returned to us. Goods that are shipped with ‘receiver to pay’ will be rejected by us, leaving the courier responsible.

    Due to the competitive pricing of products offered by Ink Station, we must strictly adhere to the return policy above. Thank you for your understanding.

    Privacy


    Ink Station knows that you care how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly. This notice describes our privacy policy. By visiting Ink Station, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Notice.


    What Personal Information About Customers Does Ink Station Gather?
    The information we learn from customers helps us personalize and continually improve your shopping experience at Ink Station. Here are the types of information we gather.

    Information You Give Us:
    We receive and store any information you enter on our Web site or give us in any other way. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to take advantage of many of our features. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests, customizing future shopping for you, improving our stores, and communicating with you.

    Automatic Information:
    We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, like many Web sites, we use "cookies," and we obtain certain types of information when your Web browser accesses Ink Station. Scroll to the bottom of this page to see examples of the information we receive. A number of companies offer utilities designed to help you visit Web sites anonymously. Although we will not be able to provide you with a personalized experience at Ink Station if we cannot recognize you, we want you to be aware that these tools exist.

    E-mail Communications:
    We will send you emails to inform you of the progress of your order. We occassionally send newsletters to our customers. If you do not want to receive our newsletters, please adjust your account to reflect this by selecting unsubscribed in the newsletters menu.

    Information from Other Sources:
    We sometimes receive updated delivery and address information from our shippers or other sources so that we can correct our records and deliver your next purchase or communication more easily.

    What About Cookies?
    Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your Web browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and to provide features such as automatic login and permanent shopping carts for storage of items in your Shopping Cart between visits. The "help" portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether. However, cookies allow you to take full advantage of some of Ink Station's coolest features, and we recommend that you leave them turned on.

    Does Ink Station Share the Information It Receives?
    Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others. We share customer information only as described below.

    Agents:
    We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and e-mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions for us only, and may not use it for other purposes.

    Business Transfers:
    As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy stores or assets. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the unlikely event that Ink Station, or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will of course be one of the transferred assets.

    Protection of Ink Station and Others:
    We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with law; enforce or apply our Conditions of Use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Ink Station, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

    With Your Consent:
    Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when information about you might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.

    How Secure Is Information About Me?
    We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Westpac Bank as one of our payment processors, they process the credit cards, so Ink Station will NEVER see you credit card number. Westpac Bank protects your privacy and information by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

    What Information Can I Access?
    Ink Station gives you access to the following information about you for the limited purpose of viewing and, in certain cases, updating that information. This list will change as our Web site evolves.

    Your Account


    What Choices Do I Have?
    As discussed above, you can always choose not to provide information, even though it might be needed to make a purchase or to take advantage of such Ink Station features as Automatic login, and permanent shopping carts. You can add or update certain information on pages such as those listed in the "My Account" pages. When you update information, we usually keep a copy of the prior version for our records. If you do not want to receive e-mail or other mail from us, please adjust your account to reflect this in the newsletter menu.

    Children
    Ink Station does not sell products for purchase by children. We sell children's products for purchase by adults. If you are under 18, you may use Ink Station only with involvement of a parent or guardian.

    Conditions of Use, Notices, and Revisions
    If you choose to visit Ink Station, your visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Notice and our Conditions of Use, including limitations on damages, arbitration of disputes, and application of the law of the state of New South Wales. If you have any concern about privacy at Ink Station, please send us a thorough description to sales@inkstation.com.au, and we will try to resolve it. Our business changes constantly. This Notice and the Conditions of Use will change also, and use of information that we gather now is subject to the Privacy Notice in effect at the time of use.     Information You Give Us
    You provide most such information when you search, buy, bid, post, participate in a contest or questionnaire, or communicate with customer service. For example, you provide information when you search for a product; make an order or an Auction bid; provide information in Your Account (and you might have more than one if you have used more than one e-mail address when shopping with us); communicate with us by phone, e-mail, or otherwise; complete a questionnaire or a contest entry form; by providing employer, school, or other such information; participate in Discussion Boards; provide and rate Reviews.
